ZILCH
RECORDS
Zilch Records was a DIY label. It seems to have issued
just the one single, a version of the traditional tune 'Portsmouth', played by
the Band Of Yorkshire Imperial Metals (ZILCH-1). Mike Oldfield's version
had been a hit in 1976, but the BOYIM rendering failed to emulate that
success. There was another, Zilch label, in the 1980s, it was
more productive then this one. The logo of the 1980s Zilch
label is different to the one on the single, so presumably they were different
companies. Distributed By Zilch Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For
The Info.
