Independent label: XX Records was a label dedicated to the Blues, run by Robin Gosden.  XX issued more than a dozen six-track EPs in 1971-72, some of which featured more than one artist.  Numbering was in the MIN-700s, starting at 700, and distribution was by Swift, of Bexhill-on-Sea, a record importer and distributor of which Gosden was co-director.  In partnership with Bruce Bastin he made other ventures into licensing and releasing material into the CD era, on labels such as Harlequin. Distributed By Swift Records.
