XX
RECORDS

Independent label: XX Records was a label dedicated to the Blues, run by Robin Gosden.  XX issued more than a dozen six-track EPs in 1971-72, some of which featured more than one artist.  Numbering was in the MIN-700s, starting at 700, and distribution was by Swift, of Bexhill-on-Sea, a record importer and distributor of which Gosden was co-director.  In partnership with Bruce Bastin he made other ventures into licensing and releasing material into the CD era, on labels such as Harlequin. Distributed By Swift Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
