Vanessa Records was a label of producer Don Todd's 'DTP' company. Vanessa seems to have issued just one record: an EP by Steve Holford, 'This Is My Life', which had a catalogue number of VRS-101. In addition to the tracks shown on the scan above the EP offered versions of 'Didn't We' and 'Just In Time'; the material is of the 'Club / Cabaret' type. There's no date on the labels, but fortunately the first buyer of my copy wrote on one side the date on which he bought it - June 1974 - along with his name. I'm quietly confident, therefore, that the EP came out in that year; or perhaps, if sales were slow, the year ealier. Presumably the 'Vanessa' pictured on the label was the Todds' daughter.
