Valley Records was a DIY label. And was a self-financed effort by '60s hitmaker Ricky Valance. The only record on the label that was an EP featuring 'Love Hurts' and three other tracks - including another version of 'Tell Laura I Love Her'. The catalogue number was VLY-001, and it came out in 1976. The layout of the label and the appearance of the word 'Pollen' on the label indicate that the studio responsible for the recording was Pollen Studios, of Haxby, Yorkshire. Distributed By Valley Records. Ricky Valance (born 10 April 1939) is a Welsh singer. He is best known for the number one single "Tell Laura I Love Her", which sold over a million copies in 1960.
