VAGUE
RECORDS

Independent label based in Manchester: Vague Records issued at least two singles, in or around 1979.  They were a remarkable version of the Village people's 'Y.M.C.A' by Galactic Symposium (VOG-2), coupled with a take on Pink Floyd's 'Money'; and 'In Vogue' by Art Failure (VOG-1).  As far as the Galactic Symposium record is concerned, the vagueness appears to have extended to include label identification and catalogue numbers, which is a nice touch. Distributed By Rough Trade Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
