True Friends Music Records was a DIY label. dedicated to the music of experimental band The Film Cast - 'The Filmcast' from the second single onwards.  It issued three singles in 1979-80: 'Life In A Film Cast' b/w 'Stations And Answers' (TF-001; 1979), 'Admission' b/w (TF-002; 1979), and 'What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted' b/w 'It May Have Been' (TF-003; 1980).   A fourth, 'World Of Lights' b/w 'The Distant Heart' (TF-004) followed in 1984.  The label designs differed from one another.  It may be that initially the label was known as just 'True Friends', with 'True Friends Music' being the publisher; the 'TF' prefix points towards that.  By the time of the third single, however, 'True Friends Music' in full appeared on the labels.  Distributed By True Friends Music Records.
