Trendy Records was a DIY label. It was owned by The Trend, from Manchester; it issued just one single, their, 'Teenage Crush' b/w 'Cool Johnny' (T.R.E.N.D.-1; 1979). MCA were sufficiently impressed by the record to snap the band up, which presumably rendered the Trendy label surplus to requirements. Distributed By Trendy Records.
