TRASH
RECORDS
Independent label: Trash Records seems to have issued just two
singles: Andrew Rance's 'It Really Shouldn't Matter' (TRA-1001; 1979), which has
been described as 'Power Pop', and 'Play It Again' by Maltese band Black Train
(TRA-1002; 1980), which is gruff-voiced Euro-Pop. The second single was
distributed by Pinnacle. The two singles had different label designs,
both featuring a dustbin wearing glasses; it can just be seen that the designer
has drawn a 'Melody Maker' newspaper amongst the rubbish in the bin on TRA-1002.
