TOM CAT
RECORDS

Independent American label: Tom Cat Records was owned by Tom Catalano, manager of Neil Diamond.  During its two-year lifespan in the States it issued records by the likes of Ronnie Spector, Forrest McDonald and Sweetwater.  Over here, however, it appears to have managed only two releases: Marc Wirtz's, 'We Could Have Laughed Forever', (YB-10359; 9/75), and 'One Fine Day' by Julie (Budd) (TOM-1; 2/76).  The first seems to have been issued with its American catalogue number; by the time of the second Tom Cat had been given a series of its own.  Manufacture and distribution were by RCA. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
