THE WHOLE STORY
RECORDS
The Whole Story Records was a DIY label. It was the name
of a Christian missionary drive led by the Rev. David Watson, which took place
in the late 1970s and perhaps beyond - the only years I have been able to verify
were 1977 and 1978. Presumably as an aid to his missionary efforts the
Reverend issued an EP containing a sermon of his, 'The Whole Story', on one side
and two folk / pop tracks by the St. Michael Singers, 'Come To The Living God'
and 'Have No Anxiety', on the other. It came out on 'The Whole Story'
label, which I presume was his own, and had a catalogue number of WS-1.
The style of the matrix number suggests an RCA pressing. Distributed By The
Whole Story Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
