Independent Reggae label: The Thing Records was owned by G. Lewis, that it appears to be the British counterpart of Lloyd Campbell's Jamaican label, and that it was operative in 1974. It seems to have issued just the one single, 'College Girl' by I. Brevett & Dennis Alcapone, which had a catalogue number of GL-1003.
