THE ECHOES
RECORDS
The Echoes Records was a DIY label. In 1979 Country band
The Echoes put out a four-track EP called 'Standin' Tall', which, in addition to
the title track, contained their versions of 'You're Sixteen', 'Echo Bonita' and
'Wreck Of The Old No. 9'. The EP had a catalogue number of 79-1, which I
suppose was logical enough. The label looks like a product of Westwood
records, of Montgomeryshire, a company which made a lot of Country recordings,
but that could just be a coincidence. Distributed By The Echoes Records.
