Teen Beat Records was a DIY label from Liverpool. It managed one single by the Glass Torpedoes' containing 'Someone Different' and two other tracks (TBR-1). It came out in 1979.. Distributed By Rough Trade Records. Glass Torpedoes were a Liverpool (Kirkby), band originally signed to Rough Trade in 1979. The band released four 7" singles between 1979 and 1981 before calling it quits. The band recorded one Peel Session for legendary broadcaster John Peel in July 1980. Played gigs with such post-punk bands as Joy Division and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. The Line up were : Original , Mark Coleridge (Drums) Alan Cunningham (Guitar) Paul Cunningham (Bass) Barabara Donovan (lead vocals) Mick Reid (Guitar). Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
