Independent Reggae label: Sun
Tan Records was one of the many obscure Reggae labels that came and
went during the 1970s and early '80s. Sun Tan seems to have managed just
two 7" singles, both of them in 1978, though it added several 12" ones
afterwards. Both sizes of record were numbered in an ST-000 series, and
the label name was sometimes given as 'Suntan'. Several of the records
were produced by Lloyd James, which suggests that he might have had something to
