SUN TAN
RECORDS

Independent Reggae label: Sun Tan Records was one of the many obscure Reggae labels that came and went during the 1970s and early '80s.  Sun Tan seems to have managed just two 7" singles, both of them in 1978, though it added several 12" ones afterwards.  Both sizes of record were numbered in an ST-000 series, and the label name was sometimes given as 'Suntan'.  Several of the records were produced by Lloyd James, which suggests that he might have had something to do with the company. Distributed By Sun Tan Records.
