STICKY
RECORDS

Independent label: Sticky Records was the first of two 'Sticky Label' labels to appear towards the end of the 1970s, this was a London-based independent company.  'Cambridge Stomp', by Punk group Push (STK-500; 1978) seems to have been its only release.  The matrix number, GD-011, fits in with the Gold Records series, suggesting that there was a close link between the two concerns. Distribution was by Rough Trade / Lightning. Push was formed in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Band Members Ray Ashcroft [aka Charles Paris] (vocals), Jerry E. Meek (bass), Dave Carr (guitar), Tag (drums). Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
