Independent label from the Punk / New Wave years: Stark Records was a Scunthorpe based label founded in 1979 by Paul Singleton and Chris Leaning. It issued at least one LP, a Various Artists effort entitled, 'Household Shocks' (STARKLP-1), and one single, One Gang Logic's, 'Alienate' (STARK-001; 10/79). the single was made through by custom recording firm SRT, as the matrix number SRTS/79/CUS-485 indicates; the Stark label was handled by Dead Good Records, of Lincoln, and was distributed by One Stop.
