Independent label: Sire / Korova Records was set up by Bill Drummond, co-founder of Zoo Records, and was part of the WEA group. The first single on the Korova label, 'Rescue', by Echo & The Bunnymen (KOW-1) appeared in April 1980. However, at least two record, the Judge Dread single shown above, 'Lovers Rock' (SIR-4028), appeared on a joint Sire Korova label, in October 1979.
