Simon Records was a DIY label. And seems to have been a rather here-today-gone-tomorrow kind of concern. It issued at least two records, both by actor Trevor Chance: a single, 'Love Is' (SRC-001; 2/79), and an album of the same title (SIMONLP-1). Chance had recorded for GL Records, an affiliate of RCA, earlier in the decade. It's quite an attractive design for a DIY label: simple, but striking. The company was based in Rochdale, and distribution was by Wynd Up. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
