SHATTERED
RECORDS
Independent label from the Punk era: Shattered Records released
at least six singles during 1979-80, starting with the Fragments' minimalist
synthesiser version of 'Nutbush City Limits' (SHAT-1; 11/79). Unusually
the company numbered its second single, 'Born Yesterday', by the Running Dogs,
'SHAT-1½', before returning to the more customary numbering sequence with
SHAT-2, the Fragments', 'Some Other Guy'. A few records was pressed in
France, which happened quite a lot at that time. Distributed By Shattered
Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
