SCRATCHY
RECORDS

Scratchy Records was a short-lived singles-orientated arm of Chrysalis Records. It was to be a joint venture between Chrysalis, John Gaydon and producer Alan Seifert.  Chrysalis was to be responsible for marketing and distribution; it had an agreement with Island for the latter.  In the event, Scratchy seems to have managed just four singles and one album, all of which appeared in 1974.  They were all products of G.O. Record Productions, of Wimpole Street, London.  The catalogue numbers numbers were taken from the main Chrysalis numerical series, and manufacture was by EMI. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
