Independent label: Rondercrest Records appears to have started out as a production company. At least two of the company's previous productions, both of them singles by Fergus, came out on the Paladin label in 1976-77. Presumably when Paladin bit the dust the people at Rondercrest decided to start their own label. It first saw the light of day in 1978, and it seems to have run to only a handful of singles and a couple of LPs before expiring. Pinnacle did the marketing and distribution.
