ROLA
RECORDS
Independent Folk
label: Rola Records issued records from 1979 to 1982; most of them
were albums, but the occasional 7" crept out. Johnny Coppin's single 'We
Shall Not Pass' (RO-001) came out in October 1979, and thus qualified Rola for a
place on this site. To judge from the few examples the design of the label
appears to have changed from record to record, so the one shown shouldn't
be taken as typical. Distribution of the first Johnny Coppin single was by
Pinnacle; in 1982 Spartan took over the job. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The
Info.
