Rock Hard Records was a DIY label. And the vehicle for the first release by Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden. Their EP, 'The Soundhouse Tapes', was released in November 1979 and featured the tracks 'Prowler', 'Invasion' and 'Iron Maiden', different versions of which were to appear on the band's first album. It had a catalogue number of ROK-1, and a matrix number of LYN-7672, which indicates a Lyntone pressing.
