Rising Sun Records was a DIY label. based in High Wycombe. It released at least two records in 1979-80: a split single shared between the Plastic People ('Demolition', RS-1) and the Xtraverts ('Police State', RS-2), which came out in November 1979, and an EP by The Cause, 'Metro Police' (RS-001), which appeared the following year.
