Independent label: Rexette Records was from Liverpool. Rexette was owned by Roger Earle, who was also responsible for Eric's Records and Last Trumpet Records. The Rexette label design featured a dog in a space helmet looking down at a 'Dansette' type gramophone; a sort of His Master's Voice for the space age. The word 'Rexette' only appears in small print on the front of the gramophone, which probably explains why the label also gets referred to as 'Moondog'. The majority, however, go for 'Rexette'.
