RED SQUARE
RECORDS
Red Square Records was a DIY label. It managed one
single. 'The Death Of Rock 'N' Roll' by Salisbury band The Kitchens. It
had a catalogue number of RS-1, and it was issued in 1979. There does not
seem to be any connection between this Red Square and the company which released
a single called 'Red Square Dance' by The Defectors - reputedly Lindisfarne in
disguise - the following year. Though the names were the same the
numbering (KGB-1) and the label design were different. Distributed By Red
Square Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
