REACTION AND SOMEBODY ELSE
RECORDS
Reaction And Somebody Else Records was
Another of those labels which is shrouded in mystery. For a start off,
there's no indication on the label as to what is the name of the company which
made the record: I have called it 'JS' for the sake of identification, because
that is what the first part of the prefix was. As can be seen from the
scan, JS EP-01 was an EP by a band called Reaction, which featured the tracks
'He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother' and 'Tomorrow Came Yesterday', as well as
'Runaround Girl' and 'Something Wild'. It is undated, but Jim Humfreys has
kindly mailed to say that he bought a copy of the EP at one of the band's gigs
in West Mersea, Essex, in December 1974, which pins the year down pretty
well. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
