R & O
RECORDS

Independent Northern Irish label: R & O Records Catalogue numbers suggest that R & O issued at least seventeen singles, in or around 1972-73, Two were by Wolfhound, 'Boys Of The Old Brigade' (RO-1001) and 'Over The Wall' (RO-1002), while the fourth was the one pictured, Jim Gunner's '13 Men' (RO-1004; 1972).  Less political were 'Only You' by The Rumble Band (RO-1014; 1972) and the EP 'Hound Dog' by Tremblin' Ted & The Rockers (RO-1017; 1973), both of which featured Irish rocker Teddie Palmer and his band.  'R & O' stood for 'Release & Outlet', R&O being a collaboration between those two companies; Release handled the records in the South, Outlet in the North. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
