Independent Northern Irish label: R
& O Records Catalogue numbers suggest that R & O issued at least
seventeen singles, in or around 1972-73, Two were by Wolfhound, 'Boys Of The Old
Brigade' (RO-1001) and 'Over The Wall' (RO-1002), while the fourth was the one
pictured, Jim Gunner's '13 Men' (RO-1004; 1972). Less political were 'Only
You' by The Rumble Band (RO-1014; 1972) and the EP 'Hound Dog' by Tremblin' Ted
& The Rockers (RO-1017; 1973), both of which featured Irish rocker Teddie
Palmer and his band. 'R & O' stood for 'Release & Outlet', R&O
being a collaboration between those two companies; Release handled the records
