PULP MUSIC
RECORDS
Pulp Music Records was a DIY label. The only release seems
to have been a three-track EP, 'Low Flying Aircraft', by Pulp Music (PB-1;
10/79). Presumably the record was financed by the band, which consisted of
Paul Burwell and Anne Bean. The few examples that I have seen have
had no labels at all, just the word 'LOW' or a number tippexed on to the naked
vinyl; the sleeve had an equally home-made appearance. The music on the EP
has been described as a fusion between Avant Garde and Punk. Pressing was
by Polydor. Distributed By Pulp Music Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For
The Info.
