PAGE INTERNATIONAL & NEPENTHA
RECORDS
Independent label: Page
International Records was the name of Larry Page's company. The
firm's main label was Penny Farthing Records but it made a brief appearance
under its own name in late 1972 as a member of the Philips family. Page
had introduced a label for songwriters, Nepentha in 1971, but it proved to
be short-lived. Nepentha singles were issued in a 6129-000 series; after
that label's demise Page International picked that series up where Nepentha had
left it, and continued with it briefly. It appears to have issued just two
singles: 'Give A Little Bit More' by Sand (6129-004; 12/72) and David
Matthews's, 'Lady Nicotine' (6129-005; 11/72). Neither are all that
commonly seen. Distributed By Philips Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons
