OUTER HIMALAYAN
RECORDS
Independent label: Outer Himmilayan Records was a label
with a modest beginning but a long history. Outer Himmilayan's first
release was a DIY EP by The Magits, 'Fully Coherent' (SRTS/79/CUS401; 1979).
After The Magits split, Nick Blinko formed another band, the 'Anarcho Punk'
outfit Rudimentary Peni, and he revived Outer Himmilayan in 1981, mainly as an
outlet for recordings by that band. It continued to serve that function
through the '80s and the '90s and into the 2000s, though releases were somewhat
sporadic. Distributed By Outer Himmilayan Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons
