Northampton Wood Hill Records was a DIY label. It managed one single an EP, 'Motor Industry', by Alternative Punk band Coil. Its catalogue number was HAV-1, and it appeared in 1979. The Coil was formed in a TV repair shop in 1977 and was a Northampton based 4 piece band. The band (who ran from late '78-80 & reconvened in '86) were Finbar Lilis (voc) Phil Dann (guitar) Tony Harrison (bass) Steve Curtis (drums). Phil Dann and Finbar Lillis first met each other in 1958.
