Metro Records was a A DIY label. A single by a band called La Mortgage, 'Fallin'' b/w 'The Shady Lane', seems to have been Metro's only release. It had a catalogue number of 0501, and it was issued in 1979. Manufacture was done through custom recording firm Ellie Jay, as the matrix number, EJSP-9289, indicates. The label was white with what I assume is an outline of the band members in black; it had 'Metro' at the top in hollow letters, enclosed within a curved rectangle.
