Mental Health Council Records was a DIY label. It was established, in 1971 the Mental Health Council sponsored a three-track EP by Rock trio Purple Wine Bob Tansley-Organ / Dave Moore-Guitar / Brian Cox-Drums, containing the tracks 'It's My Mind', 'I'm Lonely' and 'Friends'. There was no catalogue number on the label. The songs have been described as 'Prog / Psych'. The record is now a collectors' item. Distributed By Mental Health Council.
