Melody Records was a DIY label. It managed one single Triandafilos's 'Dikeomamou' b/w 'Simerini Gineka'. The catalogue number, SRTS/CUS/77081, indicates that it was made through custom recording firm SRT in 1977, and the sleeve indicates that funding was made available by the Rendezvous Tavern restaurant. I would imagine that Triandafilos was an expatriate, perhaps living in London, but it wasn't unknown for records to be pressed here that were intended for sale in countries that had no pressing facilities of their own - Malta, for example - so this may possibly be one of those. The label has the look of an Orlake pressing. Distributed By Melody Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
