MARLIN
RECORDS
Marlin Records was a DIY label. And another of the
hundreds of short-lived private labels which custom recording companies provided
for their customers. The customer in this case was most likely Vince
Collins, whose single, 'It's A Good Life' (VJCSP-001; 1977) was the first - and
possibly the only - release on the label: I presume that his initials make up
the 'VJC' part of the prefix. The recording was made through Beck
studios of Wellingborough. Distributed By Marlin Records. Thanks to
Robert Lyons For The Info.
