Independent label: Location Sound Records seems to have been a small label for private pressings. It managed at least two Records by groups that were based in Reading, which suggests that it was run by a studio in that area. One of those records was an LP, 'Sing A Song Of...' by the Reading Phoenix Choir (LSC-103); the other was a Christmas single by the Oxford Road Primary School Steel Band, Reading, which offered versions of 'Away In A Manger' and 'Silent Night'. The catalogue number of the single was YRS-101, which indicates that it was made through the Yarmouth Recording Studios. Neither record had a date on it, but the steel band made another self-financed single in 1973 via S.R.T. which suggests that their Location Sound record is probably from that part of the decade.
