Local Records was a DIY label. Its only issue was an EP by Johnny G. & The Claimants, which featured 'Moments' and four other tracks. The catalogue number, LYN-2516, shows that it was a Lyntone product; and it came out in 1972. Johnny G. went on to bigger and better things, becoming one of Beggars Banquet's first signings five years later and making a number of singles and albums for that company, starting off with 'Call Me Bwana' (BEG-3; 12/77).
