LIVE AND LOVE
RECORDS
Independent Reggae label: Live And Love Records was a
subsidiary of Third World Records, it was owned, initially by Count
Shelley. It started out in 1975, issuing singles in a LAL-00 numerical
series, and was still going in 1990, having adapted smoothly to the more rootsy
Reggae of the late '70s and '80s. It appears to have stopped releasing 7"
records in 1978, from which point it concentrated on 12" singles, though an
occasional 7" slipped out in the '80s. To begin with, the label had two
different-coloured halves, but the lower half disappered between the fourth and
sixth issues. Distributed By Third World Records. Live And Love Records
Former address: Third World Recording Co. Ltd. 113A Stoke Newington Road, London
