LITTLE DAVID
RECORDS
Independent American label: Most of Little
David's was USA output, during the ten years of its existence
(1970 - 1980) seems to have consisted mainly of comedy records, by Flip Wilson
and George Carlin, and New-Age-type instrumentals, by Kenny Rankin. Some
Little David material was issued on Atlantic in Britain in 1974, but the actual
Little David label only appeared briefly over here: the company issued two
albums and a single by Rankin, and a single by Wilson, in 1975 /
76. Distribution was by WEA. The singles shared Warner
Brothers's numbering sequence, As can be seen, there were differences in the
position and / or the font of many of the credits on the two singles'
labels. Distributed By WEA Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For
The Info.
