KAMA
RECORDS
Kama Records was a small
independent or possibly DIY label from Much Wenlock. Kama was responsible
for four albums from 1978 to 1980, by artists who seem to have been from the
Club / Cabaret circuit, but, as can be seen from the discography below, most of
its few 7" releases came out in the early '80s. Happily, however, it released
one single in 1979 and thus qualified for a place on this site. The single
in question offered cover versions of themes from 'Star Wars' and '633
Squadron', performed by the Embassy Duo. Its catalogue number was
KZ-655-SS. Kama Record label was from Telford, Shropshire,
England. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The
Info.
