JESTERS COURT
RECORDS
Independent label: Jesters' Court Records was from 68, Limes
Road Tettenhall, Wolverhampton an address it shared with its parent label,
Broadside Records. Its sole single seems to have been 'The Car Workers
Anthem' by Midlands comedian Don Maclean (JES-001; 4/78), though it managed an
LP, 'The Best Of Black Country Night Out' (1980) as well. The Car
Workers' Anthem was recorded live at the Fisher and Ludlow Social Club,
Birmingham. With Young Lenny Henry posing next to Don on the front
cover.Distribution was by Selecta. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The
Info.
