Independent Reggae label: ISDA Records was owned by James Winston Thompson, who is better known as 'Dr. Alimantado'. ISDA was a Jamaican company, but the label indicates that it had a British office at 53 Eton Avenue, Swiss Cottage, London. Its first release over here was Dr. Alimantado And The Rebels, When She Need The Natty (ISDA UK REL-1000; 1978); it served mainly as a vehicle for material by Dr. Alimantado, usually in 12" format.
