Independent label: Impulse Studios Records Is now a Defunct recording studio located in Wallsend near Newcastle. Owned by David Wood founder of Neat Records. The studio ran the Wudwink label for 'private press' releases. Impulse Studios Former Address: 71 High Street Wallsend, Tyne & Wear NE28 7RJ. It managed at least one singles. It issued singles in Wudwink numerical series. Impulse's seven-inch records generally appear to have been issued in an IS/xxx/1000 numerical series, where xxx, were either the initials of the artist or the first few letters of the artist's name.
