Independent label: Improv Records was owned by vocalist Tony Bennett, a star of the Male Vocal / Jazz scene. Based in America, it ran from 1973-77; it issued at least two albums and one single over here, distribution being through Transatlantic at first, and then through Logo / Selecta. The single, Bennett's, 'As Time Goes By' (TB-712; 4/76). The single was pressed by Pye, and was given the same catalogue number as the American and Canadian issues. .
