ICP Records was Industrial
Commercial Plastics Ltd. It was a Vinyl pressing plant facility in Leicester.
Full name: Industrial Commercial Plastics (1968) Ltd. Incorporated in 1970. In
1972, ICP was acquired by Syad Ali's company Twelvegrades Gramophones Limited,
along with Deacon Records and Audio Management, although it continued to operate
independently under managing director Roger Gouldstone. It managed at least one
singles. A Sample pressing from Industrial Commercial Plastics, Gemini's
pressing plant of choice at this point. No idea what purpose this served -
whether it was a promotional device for the group or a sample of ICP's quality
products.
