Independent label: Hot Wax Records appears to have been an outlet for records made by the Hot Wax production company. Previous Hot Wax productions, by the group Stretch and its guitarist Kirby (Gregory), were issued on the Anchor label, but in 1978 the company seems to have had a go at releasing material itself. The meagre number of issues (one each by the artists mentioned above), coupled with their rarity, suggests that it wasn't an entirely successful attempt.
