Hot Metal Records was a DIY label. It managed one single a four-track EP of songs recorded in 1979 to protest at the closure of Corby steel works by British Steel. Mike Carver was the artist responsible, and the lead-off track was called 'Keep The Candle Burning'. Pressing was by SRT, and the EP had a catalogue number of SRTS/79/CUS-517.
