Hav Records operated out of 18, Thornhill Road, Ponteland, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and it recorded the four tracks that make up an EP by Barfly on 'the HAV Mobile' at the West House, Killingworth. In addition to the tracks shown on the scan the EP offered two more originals, 'Bad News Boy' and 'Six Foot Three And Crazy'; all four are in a Pub Rock vein. Its catalogue number was HAV-1394, which doesn't fit any series that I can think of. Bass player Steve Thompson produced the EP and either wrote or co-wrote three of the tracks, so it looks as though he was the driving force behind the record - and perhaps the label. The most recent song has a copyright date of 1978, so presumably the EP came out in or around that year. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
