HAMPSHIRE SOUND SERVICES
RECORDS
Independent label: Hampshire Sound Services
records managed at least two singles an 1979 EP called 'Bottled
Rags' by a duo from Reading called Quart. There's no company name on the
label, but the credits on the picture sleeve say that the tracks were recorded
at Hampshire Sound Services by a chap named Len Graham, who may well have been
in charge of the studio. And Cheandus I Will Survive HS 50 with an SRT Cat
Number S/80/CUS 716 The prefix of the catalogue number, 'HS', presumably stands
for 'Hampshire Sound', and the number, '51', would seem to indicate that there
are at least forty-nine other Hampshire Sound records out there somewhere.
